A fairly new co-working space close to Taipei City Hall. The interior is nice and well designed with plenty of natural light. There are several large worktables for flex members. As a flex member you pay a very reasonable price per day that you visit, rather than a fixed monthly fee. Day passes are sold in batches of 10. Tea/coffee is included. Great WiFi and plenty of power outlets. There's also a meeting room, phone booth, and several other seating areas for relaxing and taking phone calls. All the staff members are extremely friendly!
A popular retro-style cafe near Taipei 101. They open at 7:30 on weekdays so it's great if you need to get an early start to your day. It's ideal for studying or working for a long time since the seating is very comfortable and there is power everywhere. The WiFi is however not the best and can be quite slow at times. Drink selection is decent (tea could be better), and it's very cheap (55 NT$ for a tea).
A great cafe near Zhongxiao Dunhua. Take the entrance up to the second floor. The interior is bright and modern. I particularly like the counter seats by the windows. The WiFi is extremely fast (350 Mb/s) and there are power outlets by some seats. The menu is not really to my taste, but there are some "ok" drink options. Good to arrive early since it tends to fill up in the afternoon.
A really nice cafe to work from on a weekday. Lots of seating on the second floor and good drink selection. There are some power outlets, so be sure to check for that before you choose where to sit. I like the large worktable by the large windows, which has plenty of natural light. It can get a little noisy at times, but after lunch on a weekday is usually very quiet. Note that the restroom lock was broken when I visited.
This cafe is located inside the Starfield COEX mall (B1) near the escalator to the City Airport Terminal (CALT). Usually quiet in the morning, but gets busy around lunch time.
A solid place to sit and work at. Wifi is good but only some tables have power outlets. The large table is "reserved" for large groups. Good selection of tea and coffee and some snacks. Friendly staff.
A popular work spot with good WiFi, plenty of power outlets, and good natural light. It was quite empty in the morning but slowly filled around lunch time. Decent drink selection and small food items. There is a two hour time limit, but it didn't seem to be enforced on a weekday. Beware, if you speak too loud you may get told off!
