This bicycle shop (also known as "CDP" Cycle Dummies Pitstop) features a great workable cafe area with lots of natural light, good cheap drinks, and some simple food options. The WiFi can be slow and unstable at times, but it usually works. There are power outlets by most seats, but not at the large worktable. It opens early and doesn't get too crowded on weekdays.
Nice atmosphere, ok drink selection, comfortable seats, plenty of power outlets. A 2 hour time limit applies during busy times.
Nice place to sit and work at during a weekday afternoon. It was a little busy when we arrived just after lunch time but we got a table after waiting a little bit. Decent drink selection, and the food seems good (but I didn't try any). Lots of power outlets, good natural light, WiFi is a little slow but stable.
The lobby area at the Hoxton hotel in Williamsburg is definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. It's usually very quiet, plenty of comfortable seating including large worktables, decent WiFi, some power outlets, and a small cafe area selling snacks and drinks. The opening hours are limited now (due to covid). But you could easily buy a coffee just before the cafe closes and then sit and work during the rest of the afternoon.
A nice cafe/restaurant close to Shibuya and Harajuku. Interesting drinks and a nice variety of cooked food. Their tuna rice dish is really good. Pasta and pizza is also good! Power available by most seats. WiFi speed is fine, but it can be a bit flaky at peak hours. I wouldn’t go here for downloading huge files. There's a smoking section, but during the morning or lunch time I rarely notice smoke smell. Note that there is a time-limit when it's crowded and I guess they won't ask you to leave unless there's a queue to get in.
A nice cozy cafe that's ideal for working. The drinks are pretty pricey though (500-600 yen for a tea/coffee). There are signs saying that you can only stay for 90 minutes, but I'm not sure how strict the rule is if it's not very crowded.
A small cozy cafe. There's supposedly a cat, but I've been here twice and never seen it. Several seating options available but none are particularly comfortable for extended stays due to the hard seats. Friendly staff and students can enjoy a small discount. It gets quite busy and a little noisy (even in the mornings). Even so, it's a great option for those that want to get an early start since they open at 7:30 on weekdays!
A great workspace near Samseong station. Just register online and pickup your badge in the reception. Good hours, fast wifi, comfortable chairs, quiet environment. Popular, but you can always find a free seat. The large work table (best seats imo) usually fills up quite fast. No cafe inside but there are two coffee shops in the building and a Coffee Bean one block away.
Nice co-working space. Good wifi, lots of power outlets, many seating areas (including work tables with proper office chairs). Monthly membership gives you access to all JustCo locations. 2 month deposit required, credit card not accepted unfortunately.
