A cafe / restaurants very popular amongst the tourists around the area. There aren't any plugs and it seems that people come here for brunch or coffee. Not many working people. The wifi is trash in the conservatory area so you have to sit on the main cafe area to get some reception. It was quiet in the morning but as people start to come for breakfast and brunch, it was so noisy that I couldn't hear a thing with my on ear headset with max volume.
A relatively large café by Koh Samui standards with a total of 4 tables each seating 4 people. The café is located next to a large square making it slightly more quiet than most other cafés in the area which usually face busy roads. The Wifi is blazingly fast and the drinks are great with a huge selection of both hot and cold drinks as well as some cocktails and beers. They offer happy hour prices on alcohol from 3pm to 5pm. There's no power outlets so keep that in mind if you plan to stay longer, but you could probably ask the very nice owners to charge a device for a few minutes in a pinch. There's not much in the way of food other than a few cakes which all looked delicious.
There's a PRONTO cafe towards the East Halls. Just next to it is a large seating area with big windows offering lots of natural light. There's a lawson and restrooms nearby as well. The only free WiFi I was able to get onto was the Lawson Free WiFi (a bit slow, but works fine).
Even though the interior space is quite large, there isn't much seating. Like most Blue Bottle locations, no power outlets, but there is WiFi available.
A small cafe near Taipei City Hall MRT station. Opens early but closes quite early as well. The seats with the straight seat backs are more comfortable for working. Unfortunately the WiFi was a little slow and music was a little too loud in my opinion. Not really the type of place I'd sit and work for a long time, but definitely good enough for a short morning work session.
A small cafe located inside the Prince Smart Inn Ebisu hotel, next to the lobby. Opens very early if that's what you need. Seating is quite good for working, with a large worktable and some smaller tables by the windows. The cafe itself doesn't have WiFi, but, if you look around you can find the hotel WiFi password. I didn't see any power outlets. It was fairly busy in the afternoon on a weekday.
A bit difficult to get, but definitely worth it, if you are able to hotspot from your phone since there is no WiFi. The nearest station is Gakugeidaigaku, with a 13 minute walk. You can also access by bus from Nakameguro or Meguro station.
First floor has counter style seating. Second floor has tables and some window seats. It was pretty much full on a weekday afternoon, so be sure to arrive early if you want a good seat.
Located just across the street from Oji station. Quite a large interior seating space, as well as an outdoor area. No WiFi, but power outlets are available inside.
If you're looking for a place to do laundry and get some work done, then this is definitely the place for you. This combined space has one area for self-service coin laundry, and the other half is a cafe serving food and drinks. Laundry is available 24/7, but the cafe space is only open from 10:30 - 18:00.
It's located in the outskirts of Tokyo in Mitaka (about a 20 minute train ride from Shinjuku) and then a ten minute walk from the station.
Tip: you can check the status of all the machines on this website so you can gauge how busy it is. I think weekdays are probably the best time to go, but even on a Saturday afternoon it wasn't particularly busy.
A quite large café with plenty of space available even on a Saturday morning. Great view of the street from the window seats on the second floor. Sadly the guest Wi-Fi doesn't seem to work and there are limited power outlets.
