A great spot not too far from the Gakugeidaigaku station. Every seat has power and the WiFi is fast. Drinks are ok. There are tables which are quite comfortable to sit at. There are also counter/bar seats.
A small but cozy spot near Jiyugaoka station. It's located on the 3rd floor of the building with the 7-11. Take the elevator up. The space has a large work table, some small tables, and outdoor seating. Lots of natural light. There's a 2 hour time limit. I don't think there are any power outlets (at least I didn't see any).
A fantastic place to work in Jiyugaoka. The cafe is located on the 2nd floor of (tefu). The inside feels very spacious with many different seating areas, and lots of natural light. I particularly like the counter tables by the windows with great views of the train tracks below. A nice selection of drinks, and the pastries looked very tasty (although I didn't try any).
Good WiFi, and some power outlets scattered around. At the counter tables there are power outlets quite hidden under the counter top.
This cafe is located on the 2nd floor of DDD Hotel. A nice quiet spot to get some work done. The counter seats overlooking the street below are a nice place to sit. The main downside is the price of drinks (quite expensive at ~800 yen for a coffee and ~900 yen for tea), and there is a 90 minute time limit per drink order.
A trendy hostel that is designed by the folks who did K5 as well. The cafe lounge space is open to public as well as the guests. There are some food options with coffee. The seats are not strictly for working but the atmosphere and the big window takes lots of sunlight so I like that than Citan where you get close to no sunlight in the cafe. One unfortunate thing is that there's close to no plugs to charge your devices, other than the one couch seat by the piano.
This is a modern public library attached with a cafe on the ground floor. There are plenty of seats that you don't have to book (although it was hard to find a vacancy on a Sunday), but also a room with reservable seats and group study desks. The library has a few terrace seats as well. The WiFi is easy to connect and 180Mbps download even with almost 100% capacity. Most of the study desks are meant for quiet work only, but if you take the terrace seat or make use of the phone booth, you could technically take meetings. Though, the phone booth doesn't come with any desks so perhaps it might be bit difficult to have any work related meetings.
Walkable from Nakameguro station, but closer to Ikejiri-ohashi. Quite busy on a weekday around lunch time. Nice interior, but the large table felt a bit cramped when it was full. There was a sign about a 90 minute time limit (when busy).
Located on the top floor of Shibuya Parco, by the office tower entrance. Good for working as it is normally fairly quiet. Good WiFi, but no power outlets. It can get a bit crowded around lunch time.
