A very quirky place hidden in the back alleys of Ebisu. It seems to be a combination of cafe, bar, and restaurant. The interior is full of plants and trees. There's one room on the first floor with several tables, and another bigger space on the second floor. Drinks felt quite basic, but the cakes were really good. A bit pricey.
Not the most workable spot, but if you're looking for a quiet space not too far from Shibuya, then the 2nd floor here is definitely a good find. Even on a weekend I was the only one here.
Art gallery / cafe. It was basically empty on a weekday afternoon. There's fast wifi, some power outlets, and a decent selection of drinks.
A stumbled upon this coffee shop in Daegu. It seems they've won some awards for coffee roasting. Really nice, chill vibe, good coffee. The window seats are definitely a suitable option for working.
A really cool spot right by Haeundae Beach in Busan. The cafe is located on the 5th floor. It was pretty busy with both tourists and locals working on laptops. There's a large table in the middle of the cafe, which is definitely the best seat for working.
A nice cafe specializing in gluten free cakes. It feels like the type of place that gets very busy on weekends, but on a weekday it was pretty empty. It filled up a bit in the later afternoon though. Its definitely on the pricey side, but the weekday cake set was a good option, the cheesecake was really delicious!
Really cozy cafe for when the weather is cold and rainy. Their specialty is matcha cakes. Minimum order is one drink or dessert.
Good selection of drinks. They have both comfortable couch-style seating with power outlets, as well as a large communal table with many power outlets.
It gets quite busy in the weekends with people coming to enjoy their cakes and desserts, so I suggest coming early.
A relatively large café by Koh Samui standards with a total of 4 tables each seating 4 people. The café is located next to a large square making it slightly more quiet than most other cafés in the area which usually face busy roads. The Wifi is blazingly fast and the drinks are great with a huge selection of both hot and cold drinks as well as some cocktails and beers. They offer happy hour prices on alcohol from 3pm to 5pm. There's no power outlets so keep that in mind if you plan to stay longer, but you could probably ask the very nice owners to charge a device for a few minutes in a pinch. There's not much in the way of food other than a few cakes which all looked delicious.
