Modern coworking space with a gallery and open floor for events. Bright natural light, great atmosphere, proactive staff, affordable prices, flexible layout, fast WiFi, inspiring community. Highly recommended for focused work and meeting cool people.
A very small, but cozy little European-vibe coffee shop between Nakameguro and Yutenji. Nice baked goods and good drinks. I did get access to WiFi after asking the staff. I also found a power outlet at the very end of the bar seating.
An interesting cafe located on the second floor of an office building. Once you enter the building take a right and you'll see a sign leading you up the stairs. The cafe space is split into two parts. A smaller space by counter, and a larger space half a floor up. It was surprisingly busy during the morning on a weekday.
There is WiFi, but I didn't see any power outlets. I didn't see any restrooms (but I'm sure there must be some restrooms in the building). Drink felt a little non-premium since it was served in a plastic cup.
Some recent improvements makes this a much more appealing cafe to work from. There is WiFi now (NOWHERE-GUEST network), and the drinks menu is a big bigger now, including tea besides a large selection of coffee drinks.
A newly opened location just next to Yoyogi-Hachiman station. There are only 4 small tables, which are suitable for working, and the rest of the seating doesn't have tables. There is fast WiFi, no power outlets.
A very small coffee shop not too far from Kichijoji station. I was there on a weekday after lunch and it was empty (I was the only one there), which felt a bit awkward for being such a small space. Also, it doesn't seem like they have any real AC (just a small portable AC unit), so it was really hot and uncomfortable inside during the summer. There's no WiFi either, but I was able to pick up the LACOSTE-GUEST WiFi, which worked pretty well. Menu was fairly limited in terms of coffee alternatives.
Large space, plenty of seating, and definitely suitable/comfortable for working, with fast WiFi and power outlets. It was pretty empty on a weekday. I tried their yakisoba-sandwich, which was pretty good. Drink options are a bit limited, especially for non-coffee alternatives. We did spot a huge cockroach while we were there (the staff took care of it though).
A small but cozy cafe near Todoroki station. Both weekends, and especially weekdays are pretty quiet. The menu is fairly small, with a selection of coffee and some snacks. There's WiFi, but no power outlets. It seems like there is a 90 minute time limit.
A short walk from the Grand Front area. It was very quiet on a weekday (just one other customer while I was there). The staff was very friendly. There are some power outlets if you need, and the "USEN Free WiFi" was very fast. Be careful with the low door frame in the restroom as I managed to bang my head on it!
