Brightly lit roastery and cafe in Dazhi. Large tables, fast WiFi and quiet. Chairs have back support. Chargers available for all seats.
Tasty deserts (especially the Basque burnt cheesecake), but no other food options.
Coffee is roasted in house and the staff are barista champions. Great coffee options.
Bike racks also available.
New cafe opened end of 2023. Great choice of music atmosphere ideal for working. Seats are comfortable and good decoration. Power outlets almost everywhere with excellent wifi.
Tasty lemon cheesecake/chiffon cake. The latte is also great. Friendly owner.
During a Saturday morning this cafe was a great place to sit and work for a bit. There are two seating areas, one with tables, and one with counter seats by windows. Plenty of power outlets and very fast WiFi. Tip: be sure to use the Plaza_GUEST WiFi network.
Seemingly a popular place amongst tourists and digital nomads (Apparently a German cafe chain). Staff spoke English well. Many of the seats have power plugs, though the comfort of the chairs vary. Some are low sofa styles so maybe not suitable for working. Food options seems decent with bagels and sandwiches available.
A new favorite spot in Hiroo. I wasn't sure if it was workable, but I asked the staff and they said laptops are ok. Keep in mind there is a time limit, but only enforced when it is busy, mostly on weekends I guess. Nice vibes, very peaceful, good drinks. Some Mondays/Tuesdays closed (I think?).
If you're looking for a quiet spot in Shibuya then this is a bit of a hidden gem. It is located on the 2F of the OneFive Tokyo Shibuya hotel. Very fast WiFi, a few power outlets available, and decent drinks. The opening hours are quite limited though, so be sure to plan ahead.
This cafe is located on the 2nd floor of DDD Hotel. A nice quiet spot to get some work done. The counter seats overlooking the street below are a nice place to sit. The main downside is the price of drinks (quite expensive at ~800 yen for a coffee and ~900 yen for tea), and there is a 90 minute time limit per drink order.
