Located just inside The LINC mall, this cafe is great for getting work done thanks to plenty of power outlets and very fast wifi (the fastest I've come across in Kuala Lumpur). There's also a decent selection of drinks, and the food looks pretty good as well. Be sure to check out the 2nd floor as well, since there is more seating available there, as well an outdoor seating area on the first floor. The only downside is that the nearest restrooms our on the 2nd floor inside the mall.
A really nice cafe to work from on a weekday. Lots of seating on the second floor and good drink selection. There are some power outlets, so be sure to check for that before you choose where to sit. I like the large worktable by the large windows, which has plenty of natural light. It can get a little noisy at times, but after lunch on a weekday is usually very quiet. Note that the restroom lock was broken when I visited.
This cafe is located inside the Starfield COEX mall (B1) near the escalator to the City Airport Terminal (CALT). Usually quiet in the morning, but gets busy around lunch time.
A good morning cafe in the Zhongshan area. They open early and it's never crowded. They also have some good hot pressed sandwiches. The large drink selection, although the tea drinks are quite mediocre. Fast WiFi and plenty of power outlets.
I've passed by this place a couple of times but never tried it because it always looked very busy. However, if you go to the second floor it was almost empty on a weekday morning. It filled up and became quite noisy in the afternoon though.
The large worktable on the second floor is a nice place to sit and work, but unfortunately this table doesn't have any power outlets. The WiFi works well though.
The menu is very large, with a lot of food and drink options. I tried the Zhuori Dry Curry, which was very tasty.
Overall I would say this is a good spot to work from in the morning and have lunch, but afternoons will probably be too crowded/noisy.
Korean style cafe serving shaved ice and playing k-pop music. It's a little hectic, but the 2nd floor window seats are great for working, especially in the morning when it's a little quieter, or if you put on your noise-cancelling headphones. The cafe wifi is a little slow, but you can use the Shinjuku Free WiFi instead, which was much faster. The menu does mention a 90-minute time limit, but it doesn't seem to be enforced (at least not on a weekdays).
A very nice Japanese style location for STREAMER COFFEE. It was quite busy on a weekday morning, but got fairly empty later in the morning and around lunch time. Great WiFi, but I'm not sure about power outlets (I didn't see any at least).
I'm not quite sure if this is a permanent location or just a popup shop. Order on the ground floor, and then there are two floors of seating. It wasn't very busy when I visited on a weekday morning, however, the interior is very echoey, so if anyone is talking inside it feels noisy. There is a tiny restroom on the first floor.
