A very nice and comfortable cafe to work from. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, great cakes, and good drink selection. It wasn't very busy just around lunch, but it filled up later in the afternoon (presumably a popular cafe with students).
A small and compact cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Besides the seating shown in the photos, there's also a larger shared worktable, and a couple of counter style seats (with power outlets). The morning set is a very good deal, and the baked goods are very tasty.
One of my new favorite spots to work in Shibuya, offering cool vibes and good natural light. The cafe is located in the "sequence" hotel at the new MIYASHITA PARK mall. It's on the 4th floor just next to the hotel reception area.
The space is large and comfortable for working, with many seats and several large work tables. It's a popular spot though, so you'll want to arrive at a good time to make sure you get a good seat. Mornings are definitely the best time. It was very full in the early afternoon, but started to clear out around 6-7pm. The large worktables have easy access to power outlets, and there's WiFi (it works, but definitely a bit slow).
The cafe has a large selection of food/snacks, and a decent selection of drinks (the tea selection is quite small though).
A newly opened coffee shop (July 2022) near Taipei City Hall station. The space looks very nice, with high ceilings and lots of natural light (it almost has an Apple-store vibe to it).
The bar seats are probably your best option for working and the chairs are comfortable. The back of the cafe has more traditional style seating options. No large worktables though. Plenty of power outlets, but the WiFi could definitely be better, it works but it was quite slow.
The menu isn't huge but has a little bit of everything, including some different types of tea, but unfortunately only one type of Taiwanese tea (the kenyan black tea was quite plain). There are some basic food options, including bagels, croissant, and cakes. They have (clean) japanese toilets that automatically lift the cover up for you.
Mornings were definitely less busy, and it's nice to have a good cafe option near Taipei City Hall that opens early in the morning (most other cafes open much later during the day). It got quite busy around lunch time. The space must have very good acoustics though, because it still felt quiet. There is a 2 hours time limit.
Situated just next to Zaandam station this cafe is a nice spot to work from. The cafe is quite large, with many tables available. The WiFi is incredibly fast, but I didn't see any power outlets. Friendly service, but it took a while to receive our order.
A super cozy cafe near in Zhongshan. Lighting, design and music feels very cozy. There are two larger worktables in the back, good for working. Note that there is a 2 hour time limit, although it's only enforced if the cafe is full. We stayed for around 3-4 hours without getting kicked out.
This Tully's is located on the 3rd floor of the LaQua department store. If you happen to be in the area, it's a good spot to get some work done. I especially like the counter seats by the windows. You can access the cafe in the early morning (before the department store opens). There is a time-limit, but I'm not sure how strictly it is enforced (I usually don't stay for more than 1.5 hours anyways).
