Copenhagen is still a great city for cafe and coworking. There are plenty of laptop friendly cafes, good for working or studying. I recently found Cafe Fiol, a small cozy cafe just by Nørreport station. It was very quiet on a weekday, plenty of seats, power outlets, and wifi (although a little slow).
If you're visiting Taipei then this is a great place to stay if you're looking to get some work done. The hotel lobby bar/cafe is a great place for remote working. The bar/cafe area is open to the public (not just hotel guests) - but it's probably best to arrive after breakfast hours though. They have a minimum spend of NT$400. Fast WiFi, power outlets, comfortable seating, and nice views!
A good cafe in Roppongi. It's large and spacious with plenty of seats. The table seats have power, but they're usually occupied unless you arrive early. The WiFi is fast and reliable. Drinks and food are quite pricey though. Note that laptops are not allowed after 6pm!
A great cafe to work from in Gastown downtown Vancouver. Perhaps I was just lucky, but when I visited on a weekday morning it was fairly empty, quiet, and comfortable to work from. There's good wifi and some power outlets (although I was the window counter seats had power). The very friendly staff made for a very nice visit. Note that if you need to use the washroom you'll have to ask the staff for the key!
Another great weekday morning work spot. It's a bit outside the main city center so it's much quieter. Laptops allowed, WiFi and power outlets available. Decent food and drinks available as well.
Another great workable coffee shop near Daikanyama/Nakameguro/Ebisu. Most times I've walked past it has never been very busy. When the weather is nice the large front windows are open, which is nice. My only complaint would be that the plain black tea I ordered was oversteeped.
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery near Nakameguro is a massive 4 story building, with each floor featuring a different theme. It can get quite busy, so if you want to use it as a work spot then early mornings or late evenings are the best option. The upper floors have plenty of seating options, and WiFi is available. I didn't see any power outlets, so be sure to arrive fully charged! Plenty of good food options and a large drink selection.
A decent cafe for a short work session (not the most comfortable seating). Large outdoor seating area.
Anne & Max Korte Hoog is conveniently located near one of the busiest and most popular areas in Rotterdam city center, just a 5-minute walk from Beurs station. Surprisingly, even on bustling weekend afternoons, this café manages to maintain a cozy and tranquil ambiance. They thoughtfully provide extension cords for charging, and the best part is that they allow laptops! The food is delightful, and the service is excellent."
